DJ LOVERS by his real name “XOLANI LOVERS NENE” began working at the Newcastle Community Radio and worked his way up to Jozi Fm and further pursuing his Deejaying career at  Ukhozi FM radio station in April 2011, presenting Akulalwa from 11pm until 2am on weekdays. The popular deejay, who was nicknamed uSthenjwa intombi zimcela u kiss noma ejahile, was born in Newcastle on November 14 1980. He started his primary education at Inquthu and proceeded to Panorama High School in Newcastle before moving on to Ziphakamiseni High School.
Nene passed on Tuesday night, Sept 2011 at the King Edward Hospital in Durban at which he had been admitted after complaining of a headache. His legacy will always unfold and change people’s lives. This is the message that kept his legacy alive and proactive:
